Ryan Callahan Foundation Joins Forces With Shortino, Whitestone, And Christa Families For A Check Presentation At Apella On Newport In Tampa As Part Of A New Fundraising Campaign
Event to Begin at 12:30 p.m. ET; Tampa Mayor Jane Castor to Attend and Address the Audience at 1 p.m. ET
TAMPA, FL (October 23, 2023) – The Ryan Callahan Foundation (RCF) will accept a check presented by the Shortino, Whitestone, and Christa Families, with Tampa Mayor Jane Castor joining in support of the new campaign partnership with Apella on Newport, a thriving student-living community designed to enhance the University of Tampa experience. The presentation will take place on November 3, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. ET and promises to be a significant moment for both the community and the city of Tampa.

The campaign was built with the core mission of educating each new student leasing a unit at the Apella on the Ryan Callahan Foundation through shared materials. The goal is to bring awareness to the pediatric cancer community within the Tampa Bay Region and beyond. The hope of RCF is that, with shared awareness, and Apella leading by example showing their support of the foundation, the students will feel as passionate as the Apella investors to help change the lives of pediatric cancer patients and their families. Together, the Apella community can provide the families of RCF with moments to bring change for a brighter tomorrow.
